Don’t buy this “lifetime” Microsoft Office license, support ends in October

Microsoft Office 2021 will stop receiving security updates on October 13, 2026, turning the cheap “lifetime” licenses you may come across online into a poor purchase just weeks before the deadline. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook will still function, but Microsoft won’t patch newly discovered vulnerabilities from the said date onward.
